1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service through DetailDash, you ("Customer") agree to these Terms of Service ("ToS"), which govern all interactions, transactions, and services between you and DetailDash LLC ("DetailDash" or "DD").

2. Non-Circumvention

This prohibition exists because DetailDash invests significant time and resources in recruiting, vetting, and training the Detailers available via our platform. Circumventing the platform harms our business and undermines the services we provide.

2. Prohibition on Direct Engagement

You acknowledge and agree that after being introduced to or receiving services from a DetailDash-affiliated detailer (“Detailer”), you will not knowingly solicit, hire, or otherwise engage the same Detailer directly for car detailing services outside of the DetailDash platform for a period of one (1) year following your last booking through DetailDash, unless expressly authorized in writing by DetailDash.

If you violate this Section, DetailDash reserves the right to (a) suspend or terminate your account, (b) recover any applicable fees or damages resulting from the circumvention, and/or (c) take any other legal or equitable action deemed necessary.

4. Exceptions

  1. Geographical Scope. This non-circumvention obligation only applies to the areas in which DetailDash operates, including Westchester County (NY), Manhattan (north of 60th Street), Harlem, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Greenwich (CT), Darien (CT), Stamford (CT), and Nassau and Suffolk Counties (Long Island).
  2. Prior Relationship. This non-circumvention obligation does not apply if you had an existing commercial or personal relationship with that Detailer before connecting with them through DetailDash and can provide reasonable proof thereof.

3. Services Offered

DetailDash provides mobile car detailing services, including interior and exterior cleaning. Future service expansions will include paint correction, ceramic coating, and paint protection film.

4. Booking Process

All appointments must be booked online for security and transparency. Phone inquiries are accepted for informational purposes only.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our customers as best as possible. To ensure fairness to our team and to other clients, cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours in advance are allowed at no charge.

However, late cancellations and last-minute changes disrupt our schedule and impact our team's ability to earn. As such, we reserve the right to charge the following fees to the card on file:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service will be charged 25% of the total booking price.
  • Requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service will be charged 50% of the total booking price.
  • Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or refusal to approve necessary service add-ons (required to complete the job) will be charged 100% of the booking price.

This policy applies to all services booked through DetailDash, including those with add-ons or custom pricing adjustments.

The 20% deposit paid at the time of booking will be applied to the final service total. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, the deposit will be retained as part of the applicable cancellation fee. By booking a service with DetailDash, you acknowledge and accept these terms. To avoid cancellation fees, we encourage you to notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

6. Weather & External Contingencies

Appointments affected by adverse weather will be rescheduled at the Customer's convenience at no additional cost. If external factors prevent completion of service, rescheduling will be offered at no charge.

7. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing transparency is important, and final pricing is confirmed before booking. However, if upon inspection the selected package does not align with the actual condition of the vehicle, DetailDash's detailer will inform the client and explain why a specific add-on service is required. The client will then have the option to approve the additional charge(s) or decline the service, subject to DetailDash's cancellation policy. If the customer refuses to approve necessary upgrade(s), DetailDash reserves the right to decline service. In such cases, the customer will be charged in accordance with the cancellation policy—i.e., refusal to purchase necessary add-on after inspection is treated as a same-day cancellation (100% charge). Refusing required upgrade(s) after booking does not exempt the customer from cancellation fees, as the detailer’s time has already been allocated. See Section 5 for the applicable cancellation fee.
  • A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is applied toward the final total of the service, including any approved add-ons. The remaining balance is automatically charged to the card on file upon successful completion of the service, using the secure payment method stored at booking.
  • Payments accepted include credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and PayPal, processed via Stripe.
  • Hazardous Material Surcharge: If the vehicle contains bio-hazardous materials such as vomit, urine, blood, or other hazardous substances, DetailDash may assess a surcharge (e.g., an additional 30% of the total service cost) to cover the extra supplies, protective equipment, and labor required. Customers will be informed of any such surcharge before the service begins and must consent to the adjusted pricing or cancel the service (subject to the cancellation policy).
  • If the vehicle is excessively soiled (e.g., heavy pet hair, mold, extreme dirt etc), DetailDash may require the appropriate add-on before starting the service or cancel the service (subject to the cancellation policy).
  • All pricing is subject to change at DetailDash’s sole discretion. Price adjustments will apply to future bookings only and will not affect confirmed appointments.

8. Refund Policy

Refunds or re-services may be requested for:

  • Unsatisfactory results or incomplete services.
  • Damage caused by detailing.
  • Detailer no-shows or significant delays without notification.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges.
  • Service cancellations due to external events such as severe weather.

Refunds for dissatisfaction are subject to an internal review by DetailDash. Minor discrepancies or subjective preferences that do not materially impact the service performed may not qualify for a full refund. Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of service completion. DD reserves the right to resolve disputes by refund, redo, or credit.

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers must first attempt dispute resolution through DetailDash support. Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may lead to legal action or collection efforts. By booking a service, the Customer agrees that all payments are final and waives the right to initiate a chargeback for services successfully rendered. Unauthorized chargebacks are a direct violation of these Terms and may result in permanent account suspension and collection efforts to recover disputed amounts. If a chargeback dispute is resolved in DetailDash’s favor, the Customer agrees to reimburse DetailDash for any fees incurred as a result of the dispute.

10. Customer Responsibilities & Conduct

Customers must:

  • DetailDash is not responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle. Customers are encouraged to remove all valuables prior to service, as DetailDash will not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to any personal property.
  • Provide a safe working environment, including legal parking and driveway access.
  • Ensure vehicles are free of occupants (pets, children) during service.

DD may refuse service for unsafe or hazardous conditions. If refused, customers will be charged according to the existing cancellation policy.

11. Liability & Damage Claims

  • Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion and include photo documentation of the alleged damage before and after service. Failure to submit a claim within this timeframe may result in the claim being denied.
  • While independent contractors are responsible for any vehicle damage, DetailDash reserves the right to investigate claims and mediate between the customer and the contractor. DetailDash is not liable for damages beyond the amount paid for the service.
  • In no event shall DetailDash be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from any service performed, including but not limited to lost profits, reputational harm, or vehicle downtime.
  • Pre-service & post-service photos or videos documenting vehicle conditions may be taken for validation.
  • DetailDash liability is strictly limited to refunding the service fee paid by the Customer.
  • Services provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties or guarantees regarding specific results.
  • Child Car Seats and Seatbelts Disclaimer: By requesting or permitting the cleaning of child car seats or seatbelts, the Customer expressly acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
  1. Customer Assumption of Risk: The Customer voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any and all risks, damages, or losses, including but not limited to diminished safety, injury, or equipment failure, that may arise from the cleaning of child restraint systems or seatbelts, whether foreseeable or not.
  2. Cleaning Method Disclosure: DetailDash will perform such cleaning using standard, non-invasive surface-level techniques and expressly disclaims any compatibility with manufacturer cleaning guidelines, federal motor vehicle safety standards, or warranty compliance.
  3. Limitation of Liability: DetailDash shall not be liable under any circumstances for any claim, loss, or injury resulting from or related to the cleaning of child car seats or seatbelts. This includes but is not limited to liability for personal injury, product malfunction, warranty voidance, or misuse.
  4. Customer Responsibility: The Customer is solely and fully responsible for ensuring that any child car seat or seatbelt remains safe, functional, properly installed, and compliant with all applicable laws and manufacturer specifications after cleaning. Customers are strongly advised to consult the product manufacturer prior to reuse.

12. Tipping Policy

Tips are optional. Tips can be given directly to detailers or through the DetailDash payment platform; 100% of tips go to the detailer.

13. Fraudulent Activity & No-Show Prevention

DD employs robust verification to prevent fraudulent bookings. Customers committing fraud will face account suspension, legal action, or both. Customers engaging in fraudulent activity, including chargeback abuse or fraudulent refund claims, may have their accounts permanently terminated and be reported to law enforcement or relevant financial institutions.

14. Customer Account Termination

DetailDash maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior toward detailers and reserves the right to terminate accounts engaging in such conduct. DetailDash reserves the right to refuse service or terminate accounts at its sole discretion for any reason, with or without notice. Even if an account remains active, DetailDash may refuse service to any customer at its discretion, including those with a history of cancellations, chargebacks, or misconduct.

15. Changes to Terms

DD may update these Terms at any time. Customers will be notified of changes via email or during the booking checkout process.

16. Referral Program

DetailDash may, from time to time, offer a referral program allowing customers to earn credits or discounts towards services by referring new customers using a unique referral link or code (“Referral Program”).

  1. Eligibility & Restrictions
    • Referral credits may only be redeemed for services and cannot be exchanged for cash.
    • Referring customers must be existing DetailDash clients and may not self-refer using multiple or false accounts.
    • Credits cannot be combined with other offers, promotions, or discounts unless explicitly stated.
    • The referred customer must be a new customer who has never booked a service with DetailDash before.
    • Each customer may only participate in the Referral Program with one account, one phone number, and one email address. Any attempt to claim multiple referral rewards through different identities or fraudulent means will result in disqualification.

Prohibited Referral Methods

Customers may not collect referrals by:

  • Self-referring under different email addresses, names, or accounts.
  • Posting referral links on public forums, message boards, coupon sites, or paid ad campaigns.
  • Sending unsolicited emails or spam to collect referrals.
  • Referring fake or fraudulent customers or impersonating others.

    • DetailDash reserves the right to void, adjust, or revoke referral credits if we determine a violation of these terms.
    • Any suspected fraudulent activity may result in account suspension or termination.
    • DetailDash may modify or terminate the Referral Program at any time without notice.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • This agreement is governed by Florida State law, with jurisdiction in Miami-Dade County, FL.
  • Disputes exceeding $500 require mediation, followed by mandatory arbitration in Miami, FL, if unresolved. Small claims under $500 may proceed to court directly.
  • Customers waive rights to class actions and jury trials.

18. Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify and hold DetailDash harmless from claims arising from misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

19. Privacy & Data Collection

DetailDash collects personal information required for booking, service, payment processing, and marketing purposes. Customers may request account deletion at any time. Customer data may be shared with third parties for operational, marketing, legal compliance, or payment processing purposes. We adhere to applicable data protection laws and implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information.

20. Force Majeure

DetailDash is not responsible for service disruptions caused by uncontrollable events (natural disasters, riots, pandemics, government shutdowns, etc.). Services impacted by such events will be rescheduled at no additional charge.

21. No-Show Policy

A ‘No-Show’ occurs when a Customer fails to be present at the scheduled service time and location without prior cancellation. In such cases, the full booking amount will be charged. If a Customer accumulates two No-Show instances within a six-month period, DetailDash will issue a formal warning. A third No-Show within that period may result in permanent suspension from booking future services. Detailers are required to wait at the service location for up to 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time before marking a customer as a No-Show.

22. Website Disclaimers & Use License

A. Website Use and Content

  1. Informational Purpose: All materials and content on the DetailDash website (including text, images, and other media) are provided for informational purposes only.
  2. No Guarantee of Accuracy: While DetailDash strives to keep website content current, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information presented.
  3. User Responsibility: You assume full responsibility for any actions taken based on information from our website. DetailDash is not liable for any losses or damages arising from reliance on the website’s content.

B. License Grant & Restrictions

  1. Limited License: DetailDash grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the website for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms of Service.
  2. Prohibited Actions: You agree not to:
    • Modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, publish, or sell any content obtained from the website.
    • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any software used on the website.
    • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the website or its content.
    • Use the website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

C. Third-Party Links

  1. External Sites: The DetailDash website may contain links to third-party websites for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed on such websites.
  2. No Endorsement: Links do not imply that DetailDash endorses or approves the linked site or its content. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

D. Intellectual Property

  1. Copyright & Trademarks: All trademarks, logos, and service marks (collectively the “Marks”) displayed on the website are registered and/or unregistered Marks of DetailDash or third parties who have authorized their use. You may not use any Marks without prior written permission from the owner of the Marks.
  2. Ownership: All content, designs, images, and other materials on the website are the exclusive property of DetailDash or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

E. Website Modifications

  1. Changes or Updates: DetailDash may modify or discontinue any aspect of the website at any time without notice, including the availability of any feature, data, or content.
  2. No Commitment: DetailDash does not commit to updating materials on the site, and we reserve the right to revise or remove content at our discretion.

F. Disclaimer of Warranties

  1. “As Is” Basis: The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. DetailDash disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  2. No Guarantee: DetailDash makes no guarantees regarding the availability, reliability, or functionality of the website or that the website will be error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

G. Limitation of Liability

  1. Indirect Damages: In no event shall DetailDash be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising out of the use or inability to use the website.
  2. Local Laws: Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain warranties or exclusions of liability for certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

H. Termination of Use

DetailDash may terminate or suspend your access to the website immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms or other policies.

23. Photo & Media Release

By booking a service with DetailDash, the Customer acknowledges and authorizes DetailDash to take before-and-after photos of the vehicle as part of standard service documentation. Unless otherwise requested in writing prior to service, the Customer also grants DetailDash the right to use these images for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes, provided that:

  • No personally identifiable information (e.g., license plates, documents, people) is visible.
  • The photos are used solely for showcasing DetailDash’s services. If the Customer does not wish for their vehicle’s photos to be used in marketing, they must notify DetailDash in writing before their scheduled appointment.

By booking a service with DetailDash, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
